Young people in Newmarket have been feeding back that they would like a cinema in the town for some time. This was reinforced when one of our Suffolk deputy Member of youth parliament, Callum Fincham conducted a consultation with young people at Newmarket’s Youth Fair in February 2023. We are delighted to see that their voices have been heard and Newmarket now has its very own cinema 😊 Newmarket Charitable Foundation, in collaboration with Abbeygate Cinema, Nomads, and West Suffolk District Council, recently announced the opening of Newmarket Cinema at Kings Theatre, fulfilling the town's long-awaited dream. With high-quality sound, projection equipment, and a range of snacks, the cinema is already proving to be a truly immersive and very well-received cinematic treat!
